Dr.
Catherine Martin was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. She
graduated from Queen's University in Kingston Ontario with a Bachelor
of Science Honors degree. She recevied her Doctorate of Chiropractic
Medicine from New York Chiropractic College.
Dr. Martin is an avid runner and while in Chiropractic school began
developing knee pain. She tried physical therapy, massage therapy,
ultrasound and many other types of therapy, but nothing helped. Her
continuing pain led her to someone in the chiropractic school who had
done additional training in ART (Active Release Technique) - after one
treatment, she ran without pain - that's when Dr. Martin decided to
specialize in ART.
Dr. Catherine Martin is a Certified Elite ART Provider. Her practice
also extends to her community and local business. Dr. Martin has been
chosen to treat the employees at the Tropicana Plant for a variety of
injuries.

Contemporary Alternative Care can assist you in achieving a quality
lifestyle and making good health a priority.
ART involves neuromuscular treatment of injured or strained muscles,
ligaments and tendons. When injury or repetitive motion occurs, the
body naturally deposits scar tissue. Scar tissue weakens and shortens
the muscle resulting in either pain, a decrease in range of motion, or
even entrapment of nerves.
ART
has saved many NHL, NFL, and Olympic careers. Even actors such as
Danny Glover swear by its success.
Your health is our number one concern - Make it yours, too.
